Serving the communities of Coln St Aldwyns, Hatherop and Quenington (CHQ)
PLEASE NOTE: The Harvest Festival service has moved from 29 October to 24 September, still in St Nicholas, Hatherop. There will be no Evensong on 24 September, so that we can all be together for this important celebration. Thank you.

War Triptych. 1929- 1932 Otto Dix

The most powerful thing that struck me when visiting Berlin, was the brutal honesty of the German people in facing up to the truth of the genocidal Nazi regime. Right in the centre of the city there is a Holocaust memorial covering  half an acre or so, grim sarcophagus like blocks of stone that remind us of the horrors of the Nazi genocide. Underneath is a museum cataloguing the events and the people involved in this murderous regime and their victims.

Welcome to our website!

As part of the South Cotswolds Team Ministry we serve three villages in South Gloucestershire:  Coln St Aldwyns, Hatherop and Quenington. Historically the churches at Eastleach and Southrop were part of our group, but they are now linked with St Lawrence's Church in Lechlade. Click HERE to link to St Lawrence's Website.

We meet for worship in at least one of the villages every Sunday, with a variety of traditional and contemporary services.  Children and young people are always welcome, and several times a year we offer worship that is especially suitable for them.

You'll be welcomed at any of our churches whether you're a regular churchgoer, an occasional visitor or you've never been to a church service and want to find out a bit more.

Details of all our services and activities are here on our website as well as lots of other things too. Please take the time to browse around and if you can't find what you're looking for then please do contact us.

We'll be happy to help!
